Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What types of fabrics do you use in your garments?
When we created Cassia, we set out to use only the highest quality fabrics that were not only environmentally responsible but also sustainable. Our garment fabric is made in the USA - and is an environmentally friendly Tencel fabric (sourced from renewable resources). Our luxurious bra fabric is sourced from Italy, by a company who leads the industry in renewable yarns.
Q. Where do you manufacture your garments and how do you ensure that those creating your garments are treated well?
We feel very strongly that all Cassia garments should be sewn by workers who are treated well and enjoy strong worker protections. Currently all of our garments are MADE IN THE USA, and are sewn at a high quality production facility in New York City. We want our customers to know that no humans were harmed in the production of what they are wearing.
Q. How should I care for my Cassia garments?
The best way to care for your Cassia garments is to wash them on the delicate cycle in a mesh garment bag (any fine mesh bag intended for delicate laundry will do the trick). You can lay your garment flat to dry (for the longest life), but for those of us who can’t be bothered, use the lowest setting on your dryer. Tumble dry low or delicate.
Q. How should I store my Cassia garment?
You can hang your Cassia in the closet. We love the idea that our sleepwear deserves equal billing with our dresses and work clothes! Why shouldn’t it? We spend a third or more of our lives in it!
You can also fold it and put it in the drawer. For those of you seeking inspiration, this quick little video (video coming soon) is our take on a tidying method to roll and store!
Q. What is the easiest way to put the gown on?
When we started the design process, removable bra cups were a non-starter. There is nothing worse than trying to un-bunch wrinkled bra cups, and then try to stuff them back into place through way-too-small-slits. You know what we’re talking about!
However, we do know that the bra sewn into our garments will occasionally flip inside-out and you’ll have to put it back into place. Watch this quick little video (video coming soon) for our tips on the easiest way to recenter the garment and pull it on!
Q. What other plans do you have to extend the line?
At Cassia, we are just getting started! We envision comfortable, supportive sleepwear, in all shapes, sizes and styles. We’re working hard to develop additional lines and will keep you informed as we add new styles.
Q. What is your return policy?
If you’re not happy with your Cassia, we’re not happy either. We will take back any unworn, unwashed garments if you’re not pleased with how they look, fit or feel. Send your garments back to us within 30 days of receipt, and we’ll refund your original payment method.
