Size Guide

Choosing your CassiaWear

Our Cassia garments generally run true to size. If you usually wear a Small, you’ll most likely prefer our Small. If you usually wear a Large, you’ll most likely prefer our Large. And so on…., but a few caveats and adjustments:

  • We’ve found that the best indicator of what size Cassia you’ll love best is the size of athletic/sports bra you normally wear.

  • If your bust is small, you may want to consider sizing down a size. If your bust is very large, you may want to consider sizing up a size.

  • If you are petite or have slim shoulders, you may want to consider sizing down a size. If you are very tall, or have broad shoulders, you may want to consider sizing up a size.

Caring for your CassiaWear

Q. What is Tencel Modal?

Tencel Modal is soft, absorbent and resistant to shrinkage, color fading, and pilling. Tencel™ Modal is a fabric made from the pulp of beech trees. This means that is generated entirely from a renewable resource. It is an exceptionally soft and flexible form of Rayon. The fabric is commonly known as Modal and is one of the most sustainable and biodegradable of all fabrics. Even more importantly, it has a soft, luxurious feel and drapes beautifully – making it the perfect choice for sleepwear.

Q. Will my garment shrink in the wash?

While Modal does not shrink as much as cotton and some other fabrics, you should expect a small amount of shrinkage with your first wash. We purposely designed our garments to be just a tiny bit longer and wider than the ideal, so that after that first wash, the fit should be perfect.

Q. How should I care for my garment?

Modal is forgiving. The best way to care for your garment to ensure its softness and longevity is to hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. However, we realize that is not always realistic given the over-scheduled lives most of us lead. If you prefer to machine wash, machine wash delicate with like colors in cold water, preferably in a soft mesh fabric bag. If you can’t lay flat to dry, machine dry on the lowest heat setting.
